And Their Blissful Spring Wedding Day
Though I am usually a huge proponent of first looks, these two chose to wait until the ceremony to see each other, they said a simple prayer and spent a few moments together taking in the significance of their what they were about to do. It was an intensely emotional moment and it was the best decision for them. They were hardly able to hold back the happy tears. Their ceremony was full of emotion and reverence for the Lord and one another.
After the wedding day had officially ended, the guests had gone, and the venue was empty – the newly wed Ferguson’s and I had the perfect amount of sunlight left in the day. As the two of them spent these last few moments in each others presence I got to capture their first photos together as a married couple, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect way to end this blissful day.

“On our wedding day everything felt surreal. I couldn’t believe I was finally going to be marrying the man of my dreams; one of my biggest dreams since I was a little girl. Throughout the day I kept getting gut checks with feelings of nervousness, but I was so, so excited to get married and see how all the decor turned out together. Two of my favorite moments were having the first look with my dad and the prayer time with my husband. Those two moments were very, very special to me and will be something I never forget about my wedding day. Lastly, I loved the wedding ceremony and getting to walk down the aisle to see Josh for the first time that day. Our ceremony was so Christ focused on what God says about marriage and it couldn’t have been any more awesome!”
